The owner of the Monte Sion estate has been recognised by Unicef for his efforts in reducing child malnutrition across El Salvador. He gave each of his employees 2 chickens which ensured the families had a protein-rich diet. Our roasters have exclusivity with this estate. The 2009 cupping contest held by Rain Forest Alliance during the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA), positioned the farm *Monte Sion *as one of the top 10 best certified coffees in the world.
